Canada-made hats ship faster to Canadian addresses and are CUSMA-compliant, making them duty-free when crossing into the US. This is a real advantage if your brand has customers on both sides of the border.

We also produce custom camp hats and 5 panel caps in partnership with our Fair Trade Factory in Nepal, a social enterprise that provides stable employment to marginalised communities. Nepal production opens the door to full sublimation, meaning no limits on colour or pattern. All-over prints, gradient colourways, custom fabric designs. It's all possible.

WHAT IS A 5 PANEL HAT AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STYLES?

A 5 panel hat is constructed from five fabric panels: one wide front panel and four panels forming the crown and back. Unlike a 6 panel hat, there's no centre seam on the front, giving you a larger, uninterrupted surface for embroidery or artwork. The relaxed, low-profile fit is why the 5 panel became the classic camp hat. They are versatile enough for the trail, the job site, or behind the bar.

WHAT CLOSURE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON CUSTOM 5 PANEL HATS?

We offer strapback (fabric strap with a metal or plastic buckle), snapback, and fitted closures. Strapback is the most popular choice for custom camp hats as it reinforces that clean, minimal aesthetic the style is known for. Don't worry, if you're unsure, we'll help you choose the right closure for your brand.

ARE CUSTOM 5 PANEL CAPS STRUCTURED OR UNSTRUCTURED?

Both options are available. Unstructured 5 panels have a softer front panel that takes on the shape of the wearer's head (the most common choice for lifestyle and outdoor brands). Structured options hold their shape and tend to suit embroidered logos particularly well. We can help you decide based on your design and intended use.

CAN I GET FULL SUBLIMATION ON A CUSTOM 5 PANEL HAT?

Yes! Full sublimation is available on our custom hats produced in Nepal. This lets you print any colour, pattern, or image across the entire cap with no fabric colour limitations. If your vision goes beyond what standard fabric selection can achieve, Nepal sublimation could be the right route for you.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER FOR CUSTOM 5 PANEL HATS?

Canada production starts at 100 hats (can be split across two colourways, 50 each).

Nepal production starts at 50 hats (can be split across two colourways, 25 each).

HOW LONG DOES PRODUCTION TAKE?

Please note that production timelines can vary a little throughout the year and seasons. Canada production is typically 6–8 weeks and Nepal production is 4–6 weeks. Nothing moves to production until you've signed off on a digital mockup and quote with our design team.

CAN I GET HELP DESIGNING MY CUSTOM 5 PANEL CAP?

Yes! We provide digital mockups for every order so you can see exactly what your hat will look like before we produce anything. If you need graphic design support to develop artwork, we can help with that to. Hourly artwork fees apply and are quoted upfront for design support.

DO YOU SHIP CUSTOM 5 PANEL HATS OUTSIDE OF CANADA?

Yes. We ship to the US regularly, and Canada-made hats import duty-free under CUSMA. International orders outside the US are considered case by case. Please reach out to discuss with our team and we'll see what we can do.
