Slipper Care Instructions

Taking Care of Your Ambler Slippers

  1. Air Them Out
Since wool naturally self-cleans, you can keep your Ambler slippers fresh by airing them out and allowing them to rest when they aren’t on your feet.
  2. Stain Removal
To remove stains from your slippers, you can use a lightly dampened cloth and wool soap to gently scrub out the stain. You can repeat this step as needed to get the stain out, but be sure to allow the slippers to dry between each attempt.
  3. Leather Soles
For our leather soled slippers, use a leather brush to gently clean the sole.
  4. Rubber Soles
For our natural rubber soled slippers, use a wet cloth to wipe away any dirt, and allow your slippers to dry completely before wearing them again.
  5. Safety
Natural rubber or leather soles can be slippery on wet and icy surfaces such as tile. To avoid a slip up, be sure that your slippers dry properly before wearing them again.
  6. Colour Variations
Because our slippers are made from 100% pure and natural wool, there may be slight colour variations from one batch to another. If your pair don’t exactly match the photos, this is why!
  7. Shedding
Expect some shedding in the first 3-4 weeks of wear due to the nature of wool. Remove and discard loose fibres as needed. This ensures long-lasting comfort for years.
