Fit is just right for me, average sized head... snug but it's dense wool so yeah... Pom pom is substantial too.

and beatiful too! Love this toque. The knit is dense and the lining is comfortable. Note it fits on the small side, so maybe buy men's if you're a woman with a not-smalll head.
