• Jackie & Christian

We are grateful for the opportunity to own and run a business as a husband and wife team and to be able to work with great people all over the world to develop and produce our products. From the beginning of this adventure, it has been our goal to make a difference in the lives of the people we work with through the choices we make as a company. We appreciate you stopping by our site to see what we’re up to. If you’d like to get in touch please drop us a line, hi@ambler.co

We Believe

We are a family-owned company situated in the mountains of Canada. We pull inspiration from these gorgeous mountains, testing and tweaking our products to weather any element.

It all began in the fall of 1995 with ten styles of handmade fleece hats and a local craft fair. Today, our intent remains the same – to make quality products for our friends to enjoy. We’ve perfected fit, function and design with our friends in mind…whether we’ve met them yet or not.

We are rooted in collaboration, adventure and a celebration of the unique. But we want to do more than just make great stuff. We want to make a positive impact in the lives of those making it, the ones wearing it, and everyone in between.

  • We Work With

    Everest Fashion

We have been partnering with Everest Fashion since 2004 to produce our hand made products in Nepal. They oversee all of the products that are knit in homes in Nepal as well as take care of all of the product finishing, packaging and shipping. They are doing incredible things at Everest Fashion and we are honored to have them as our friends and partners. Learn more about Everest Fashion

  • We Work With

    Jola House

All of Ambler’s bags are produced by Jola House, a fair trade co-op in Liberia, West Africa. Blending local African fabrics with Ambler’s designs, these bags are both unique and functional. But more importantly, by purchasing one of these bags, Jola House will be able to continue to grow and fulfill their mission to EDUCATE, EMPOWER and PRODUCE. Know that your purchase is making a difference in people’s lives! Learn more about Jola House

  • We Work With

    Tristar Headwear

Tristar is a family-owned hat manufacturer that has been run by the Kuber brothers for over 30 years. We are thrilled to be working with a company that is dedicated to producing high quality, domestically produced products.

  • We Work With

    Kelly McClure

Kelly is an extremely talented knitter who we work with to create new and interesting hand knit designs. In 2012, Kelly joined Jackie on a trip to Nepal where she held workshops with many of Ambler's knitters helping them to improve their knitting skills. You can see her original designs (and buy them too!) on her website, Bohoknits

  • We Work With

    Taylor & Brayden Sato

Taylor and Brayden are brothers living and working as graphic designers/artists in Canmore. We have known these guys since they were in junior high and have watched their skills grow and thrive. These two are responsible for all of Ambler's original art and print patterns. You can view more of their work here
