Lucas Ambler
Chief Visionary Officer
Lucas takes after his father Peter. He walks slowly and enjoys life. Currently that entails soccer practice, lightsaber dueling drills and lots of books. In rare moments, he will sprint, but only if it’s fun, and only if it’s toward a soccer ball or beach. With 5-year-old wit, Lucas often charms his mother with things like, "You’re my fancy girl." Shockingly, he tries to sleep in on school days and gets up way too early on the weekend.

Holly Ambler
Designer
Holly grew up in North Pownal, Vermont. As a young girl, picking out colors and patterns from wallpaper books was a natural fit. The local pastime of dirt-modified racing was not. Holly moved on to the University of Vermont where she completed a Masters in Non-profit Management, followed by a year of ski bumming in Jackson Hole. Today, Holly lives in Canmore, raising Lucas, loving the summer, studying interior design, and looking for the next perfect place to live.

Scott Semple
General Manager
As a kid, there were no wrong answers to “What do you wanna do when you grow up?”, so when he was 25, Scott quit a good job and moved to Canmore, AB. Before his dad could say “That’s not what I meant”, Scott had already moved into his Honda Civic so he could climb full-time. These days, Scott uses his affinity for detail, spreadsheets and efficiency to run Ambler. He also writes an opinionated blog, tweets incessantly and sneaks out to a crag, frozen waterfall or the bouldering gym whenever possible.

Christian Rawles
Sales Manager
You would never guess Christian grew up in Texas by hearing him talk or watching him ski. Going from the balmy winters of Texas to the comparatively harsh climate of Canmore allows him to do 10 months of product testing a year. Christian has worn several hats in his time at Ambler, the most recent one as Sales Manager. His newest pursuit is parenthood but he can also be found enjoying human-powered sports in the Canadian Rockies or philosophizing in 140 characters or less.
